Brigitte has grown up in Tours, in the heart of the "Loire Vallée", famous for its castles, among other things. With such historical surroundings,
family Sundays turned into visits of all the treasures this nice region has to offer.
For a long time, Brigitte wanted to live in Normandy and that's where she moved in 2000 with her family. Her husband's grandmother enthralled her with the stories and anecdotes about the allies: she was 17 at the time of their landing. At last, Brigitte was in the heart of History!
When she was 8, she read the "Anne Frank" diary and immediately started to have a deep passion for WW2 events, especially for the human part of it. After general studies she went to Paris where she worked in restaurants, on the Champs Elysées and close to the Eiffel Tower. There she met plenty of guides coming from all over the world and some famous artists as well.
In 2004 she became a guide doing sightseeing tours on the Normandy beaches, on the 60th anniversary of the landing exactly. It was for her such an honour to meet so many veterans coming from all over the world. She is still friends with a lot of them to this day.
Previously she has worked for 5 years in the Arromanches "Mulberry harbour Museum".
Her passion: to be close to the people and share with them her passion for the WW2 events.
